Congressman Fulcher Slams the ICC’s Politically Motivated Arrest Warrants
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher released the following statement regarding his vote in support of H.R. 8282, the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act.
“As a proud co-sponsor, I voted today in favor of the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act to implement President Trump's sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and reaffirm Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas's barbaric acts of terror from unfounded attacks.
"October 7th was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust, and defending one’s territory and people is a fundamental duty of government.
"If we allow the ICC—an international body—to issue these misguided arrest warrants against democratically elected officials in sovereign countries, no legitimate leader would be immune.”
