Congressman Russ Fulcher calls into the Nate Shelman show to discuss the stalemate on the house floor in the vote for speaker of the house.
Congressman Fulcher says "I have cleared my schedule."
The "Freedom Caucus" is being tagged largely as the problem area, Fulcher disagrees pointing out that there are non "Freedom Caucus" members voting against McCarthy as well. A growing faction of GOP lawmakers wants to see a wholesale change in Congress, including Rep. Matt Gaetz who in a statement after the vote said "if you want to drain the swamp, you can't put the biggest alligator in charge of the exercise."
