Fulcher Statement Ahead of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Address to Joint Session of Congress
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher issued the following statement ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to a joint meeting of Congress:
“Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will give a historic fourth address to Congress.
“Israel is a longstanding partner of the United States, going back 76 years, and the only country in the Middle East that shares our democratic values.
“The Biden-Harris administration’s politically motivated decision to skip this address represents their inability to project bold leadership.
“I join my congressional colleagues today in welcoming the Prime Minister and look forward to his remarks on combatting terrorism, the path to peace in the region, and maintaining a strong U.S.-Israel alliance.”
