WASHINGTON, D.C. — Recently, the House of Representatives passed H. Res. 771, Standing with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists, on a vote of 412 - 10.

Congressman Fulcher strongly urged the passage of H. Res. 771 on the floor of the House of Representatives: "In seeking to destroy Israel, Hamas has demonstrated it is nothing more than a brutal and muderous organization." Fulcher said. "Attacking women and children, holding the elderly hostage, and launching unprovoked attacks is not only wrong but an evil that must be confronted." Fulcher continued.

Background:

On October 7th, 2023, Hamas, an Islamist terrorist group, attacked the State of Israel beyond the borders of Gaza inflicting heavy losses on civilian population centers. Hamas extracted hostages from Israel and terrorized peaceful communities. For decades, Hamas has used Gaza as a staging ground to threaten the State of Israel with the belief of genocidal eradication of Israel. The attacks on Israel are 50 years after the historic Yom Kippur Wars.
