Fulcher: We Cannot Let the Federal Government Run Roughshod Over the State of Idaho
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher issued the following statement after the Record of Decision for the final Environmental Impact Statement was released by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for the Lava Ridge Wind Project:
“The Biden administration’s disregard of Idahoans’ clear disapproval of the Lava Ridge Wind Project in Southern Idaho is despicable," said Congressman Fulcher. "We cannot let the federal government run roughshod over the State of Idaho. Come January 20, I look forward to working with the Trump administration to review this decision and protect Idaho’s public lands from energy projects that can’t make it on their own in the market.”
