ANCHORAGE, Alaska  In a lead-up to a trip to Alaska’s North Slope, Gov. Mike Dunleavy was joined by Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, [Representative Russ Fulcher, R-Idaho] and members of the U.S. House of Representative Natural Resources committee to talk about how the Biden Administration’s restrictions on resource development are impacting the state.

Dunleavy compared the sanctions on the state of Alaska to those of foreign authoritarian regimes. They said the restrictions impact natural resource development across Alaska and the nation and are also a national security issue.

Idaho Rep. Russ Fulcher added that the national debt is $35 trillion, and “we are forced to purchase from our enemy.”
