BOISE, ID -- On August 4, nearly 400 people gathered from around the United States to participate in the Grand Opening Dedication of Stanton Healthcare's flagship clinic in Meridian, Idaho.

Stanton's newest life-affirming women's healthcare clinic is located directly across a parking lot from the largest Planned Parenthood facility in the state of Idaho. The Planned Parenthood abortion center in Meridian is involved in nearly 75% of all abortions performed in Idaho.

At the Grand Opening Dedication, hundreds of local and national guests joined together in support of Stanton's vision to replace Planned Parenthood with compassionate, quality women's health care.

Some of the special guests in attendance included: Mayor Tammy de Weerd of Meridian, Congressman Russ Fulcher, a large delegation of Treasure Valley clergy and lay leaders, Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life, Janet Morana, co-founder of Silent No More, Idaho state representatives and senators, the Knights of Columbus and community leaders.

Special letters of support were presented on behalf of Governor Brad Little and Senator Risch.

The service ended with a special dedication prayer led by Father Pavone and the clergy of the Treasure Valley.

Governor Little stated in his letter, "I want to personally thank all of the pro-life supporters here today for your unwavering dedication to the promise of life for the unborn. Brandi Swindell and her team launched the Idaho-based Stanton International 13 years ago, taking a passion and God-given purpose and creating alternative resources for women considering abortion. Thank you, Brandi and your team, for what you have done to save so many lives."

Congressman Russ Fulcher shared, "I applaud the dedicated Stanton team as they provide quality health care to the women of Idaho at no cost.  By opening this clinic right across the parking lot from Planned Parenthood, they are showing the nation a path forward toward ending abortion in America and replacing Planned Parenthood."
