The Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County, in collaboration with the Boise School District, are opening up two additional “pop up” Club sites to provide additional emergency child care relief amid the COVID-19 crisis. Beginning Monday, April 6, in addition to the Club’s five current sites, children of health care workers, first responders, and essential personnel will have two additional Boise sites made available to them at Hawthorne Elementary and Koelsch Elementary. All-day child care services will cost just $6 per day, and will make the Club available to children from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. These Club sites will serve K-6th grade.Parents interested in enrolling their children up at the new Club sites may contact:

Free grab and go meals, Every regular bus stop in the district. Wil run the routes two hours later than the normal morning route times. They will stop at every normal stop Monday, April 6 – Wednesday, April 8. Beginning Thursday, if your child has not picked up a grab and go meal, the driver will no longer stop unless you call the transportation department to specifically request meal delivery.

Mountain View School District Free Meals for ALL Kids ages 1-18 During School Closure

Meals are free to any child ages 1 through 18 during the time of the mandated school closure. ALL children are welcome to pick up a grab and go meal which includes a lunch for that day and breakfast for the following morning. Registration is not required and no names are written down. A child does not need to attend school to get meals.

Buses will only run once in the mornings starting at 10:00 AM. Children may pick up a grab and go meal at their bus stop. Bus stop deliveries will begin at 10:00 A.M. for the first regular stop on each route and progressing at pre-established increments. Times may vary slightly due to the time it takes to distribute meals.

Meals will also be provided Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Family Dollar Parking Lot in Grangeville, Grangeville Elementary Middle School and Clearwater Valley Elementary School in Kooskia.

From Kootenai County: We would like to assure you the health and safety of the juveniles in our care is our primary concern. Our nurse is monitoring everyone’s health daily. The risk for exposure to our current juvenile population is individuals entering the facility who have been exposed. Our staff are maintaining a high standard of preventative measures to limit exposure. We are asking law enforcement, attorneys and counselors to consider phone appointments when possible. Only essential professional visitors are permitted to enter the facility.
Visitation for Parents/Guardians/Grandparents will be conducted by telephone on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00-11:30 a.m. and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Please call to schedule a 15-minute phone appointment. If you cannot be available during this time, please contact our office. Juveniles will still have normal access for phone use through Telemate.
Court hearings are being conducted by video only. Parents / Guardians / Grandparents may attend from the JJC or the primary custodial Parents or Guardians may attend at the JDC. Visitors that do not have a legal reason to be in court will NOT be permitted.
Any person accessing our facility will be required to wash their hands in our lobby and use hand sanitizer after screening. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, you will not be allowed into the facility. As this situation evolves, our policies and procedures may change. Our Administration will provide updates, as they are available. Thank you for your patience.

Homedale School District Food Service
Two locations have been identified for meal pick up. The meals will include
breakfast and lunch. These meals can be picked up at either Homedale
Elementary in the staff parking lot on the west side of the building or in the
parking lot of Txoko Ona, 333 S. Main Street, Homedale, ID. The meals with be
available for pick up from 11:00-12:00 and staff will be following CDC guidelines
during the distribution of food. The district plans to begin some type of delivery
outside of city limits on Tuesday, March 31st. Details are still being worked out on
