MERIDIAN, Idaho — U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher released the following statement after the U.S. Forest Service published the Draft Record of Decision and Final Environmental Impact Statement authorizing the Stibnite Gold Project in Valley County.
“The Stibnite Gold Project stands as the sole domestic source of antimony and represents the largest reserve not controlled by foreign aggressors,” said U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher. “The authorization of Perpetua’s historic project will create hundreds of jobs for Idahoans and provide a critical step in strengthening our national security by eliminating our nation’s reliance on China.”
