WASHINGTON— Congressman Fulcher has announced that the 2019 Congressional Art Competition is underway.

Congressman Fulcher commented, “I am excited to see the submissions from our talented students in the First District. This competition gives them a great opportunity to show off their gifts and receive national recognition.”

The Congressional Art Competition is open to high school students, grades 9-12, residing in or attending a school in Idaho’s First Congressional District. Submissions for the competition will be accepted at district offices throughout Idaho’s First District until the deadline of Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Judges will choose the top three entries and the Congressman will select the winner. All remaining art work will be displayed on the Congressman’s Facebook page, where a vote for the District Choice Award will be held. The winner’s artwork will be displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol and the District Choice Award and Runner Up will be displayed at a district office in Idaho’s First District.
